The Rameshwara Jute Mills Ltd (RJML) has iron-ore operations in the mineral rich Barajamda belt in the West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand.
The mines have a substantial resource base of superior quality iron ore with high Fe (iron) content and bulk density. The Fe content varies between 58 to 62 per cent. The potential of the proven deposit of reserves are adequate to sustain mining operations for about next 20 years.
Our mining operations are mechanized. State-of-the-art technology and equipment such as a hydraulic drifter, in-pit crusher, cone crushers and mobile crushers are used in the mining operations. Flexibility in operations enables maximum utilisation of resources, as well as, facilitates to cater to the needs of diverse customers.

The lease hold area is located in Topo Sheet No : 73 F/8 of Survey of India & delineated between Latitude 22° 07’ 30” – 22° 09’ 50” and Longitude 85° 20’12” – 85° 21’ 30”.
